Sponsored by Saba Animation Center, the animation series will focus on the events surrounding the Muslim scientist from the time of his birth to his death in 1048, Mehr News Agency reported.
The animation will be directed by Saeed Panji aiming to introduce a piece of the rich Iranian history.
The animation will also glimpse into the life of other great Persian figures such as Avicenna, Abul-Fazl Bayhaqi and Sultan Mahmoud Ghaznavi who were Abu Rayhan’s contemporaries.
The 3D animation will be produced in 26 episodes, each 20 minutes long and presenting more than 200 cartoon characters.
