Iran scientist assassinated in Tehran
A prominent Iranian electronics scholar has been assassinated by unidentified terrorists, informed police sources say.
The assailants, who were riding a motorcycle, attacked the scholar outside his house in eastern Tehran on Saturday afternoon.
His wife sustained injuries during the attack and was immediately transferred to hospital.
