A day later, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, the Iranian scientist who was deputy director of marketing at Iran’s Natanz nuclear facility, was killed in a bombing in Tehran.
Following the assassination, the Bloomberg quoted a US official who spoke on condition of anonymity that the attacks on scientists may be the work of a foreign intelligence agency such as the Zionist regime’s Mossad.
American journalist Richard Silverstein echoed those remarks quoting his “confidential Israeli source” as saying that Ahmadi Roshan’s assassination was a joint operation by the Israeli spy agency Mossad and the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) terrorist group.
Just ahead of the assassination on Tuesday, the Israeli military chief Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz told the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in Tel Aviv that “2012 is expected to be a critical year for Iran” that would involve “things that happen to it [Iran] unnaturally.”
Meanwhile, British political analyst Dwight Pratt said back in December that many analysts in the Middle East believe the intelligence services of the US, the UK and the Israel regime may be considering using the MKO terrorist to carry out terrorist attacks inside Iran.
This comes as John Sawers, head of British spy agency MI6, accused Iran of seeking nuclear weapons – which Iran categorically denies — back in October 2010 adding Iran’s nuclear program cannot be halted through “conventional diplomacy.”
Back in Tel Aviv, Burt underlined the importance of increasing pressure on Iran over its nuclear program, yet he said what he meant by pressure was economic sanctions.
However, in the context of what was mentioned, especially the MI6 chief’s comments about operations inside Iran, and Burt’s talk of a common anti-Iran agenda in collaboration with Tel Aviv questions begin to rise about whether Britain and the Israeli regime are leading a covert warfare, involving assassinations, on Iran and whether Burt’s visit is an endorsement of Tel Aviv’s terror plots against Tehran.
