Leaked US intelligence documents show that Israel’s spy agency, Mossad, recruited members of Jundallah terrorist group to carry out attacks and assassinations against Iranian targets
Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) memos from 2007 and 2008 describe how Mossad agents posing as CIA officers recruited operatives belonging to the anti-Iran terrorist group Jundallah in what is commonly known as a “false flag” operation.

The Mossad operation, in which Israeli agents used US dollars and passports to pose as CIA spies, was carried out mostly in London — where American spy services had a strong presence — in 2007-2008.

According to a CIA officer, information about the operation was reported up the US intelligence chain of command and apparently angered then US President George W. Bush.

“The report sparked White House concerns that Israel’s program was putting Americans at risk,” according to the officer.

“It’s amazing what the Israelis thought they could get away with. Their recruitment activities were nearly in the open. They apparently didn’t give a damn what we thought,” the intelligence officer added.

The Jundallah terrorist group has carried out numerous bombings, assassination attempts, and terrorist attacks against Iranian government officials and civilians, including women and children.

Jundallah’s notorious leader, Abdolmalek Rigi, was arrested by Iranian intelligence forces in February 2010 and executed in June 2010 after being found guilty of 79 criminal charges, including manslaughter, armed robbery, bombing operations, and armed attacks on Iranian police and civilians.

Rigi stated in his confessions that he had dealings with the US government and was promised unlimited funds and resources for “waging an insurgency” in Iran.
