“Enemies of the Islamic Republic establishment are too little to force the surrender of the Iranian nation through show-of-force gesturing and other acts of travesty,” said Commander of IRGC’s Aerospace Division Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, quoted by IRNA as saying on Wednesday.
The general reiterated at the sidelines of the military’s Great Prophet 6 missile drills that persisting Western campaign of threats and sanctions against Iran has made the nation “more proficient, conscious and determined,” adding that it has made the armed forces more effective in the battlefield.”
Hajizadeh further hailed the accomplishments of the Iranian armed forces and described them as the product of a blend of capabilities of the new generation of the nation’s military experts in the fields of defense and security, as well as the “strategic experience of the older generation.”
The IRGC commander downplayed the saber-rattling and threats of the enemy as an outcome of their incapability in overcoming Iran’s defense prowess.
Iran’s armed forces will make the enemies regret with “a crushing, fatal and chastising” response if they dare to act out their war threats, he warned.
Hajizadeh further noted that the country’s ability to deter any incursion by enemies outside the region and noted that the deterrent capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces has always served security in the region and the establishment of peace in Muslim in regional Muslim states.
“We will not allow any impairment to the security and sovereignty of the Islamic Republic,” the top Iranian commander vowed.
