Armed Yemen tribesmen flock to Sana’a
Thousands of armed Yemeni tribesmen have headed to the capital Sana’a as clashes with forces loyal to President Ali Abdullah Saleh continue in the Middle Eastern country.

Yemeni tribal chiefs said the tribesmen made the move on Thursday in support of Sheikh Sadeq al-Ahmar, leader of Yemen’s powerful Hashid tribe, AFP reported.

Scores of tribesmen and regime forces have been killed in clashes that took place after Saleh refused to sign a power transition deal brokered by the [Persian] Gulf Cooperation Council on May 23.
